microdermabrasion?
Anyone get this done? My skin is looking blah after this winter but I am scared to do it. I have heard stories of people who break out after facial treatments so I am a scaredy cat- lol

Re: microdermabrasion?
Have you used a clairsonic or olay pro-x? Perhaps one of those could help you.

Re: microdermabrasion?
Mary Kay has a great microdermabrasion set. I have a sample that I would be happy to send it to you. Step 1 is the advanced exfoliator and step 2 is the replenish serum to help sooth the skin and bring it back in balance. It helps fight fine lines, refine pores and achieve beautifully smooth skin
FM me for details

Re: microdermabrasion?
I started using this from Paula's choice- twice a week at night- and find that my skin is a WORLD better.

microdermabrasion?
Try a peel first..its the step before going to microdebrasion and much less harsh....do a mild peel first then go stronger

I thought the reverse was true?
Microderm is just a deep exfoliation, I have been doing it to try and even out my skin. Skin feels great immediately after. You need to do it monthly for a few times. You'll see results right away though. Doesn't hurt at all.

I thought so too, I thought the peel was 'stronger'. That being said, I had a mild chemical peel (I'm 40) and I think my skin looked years younger after.

Re: microdermabrasion?
I love microdermabrasion and do a series of 5 sessions, once per week every 2 or three years. I have never had a bad reaction, love the results but you do need to stay out of the sun until 2weeks after the last treatment. I try to time them for late fall or winter when I am in the sun less naturally.

Would you mind sharing where you go? I think I want to try it in the fall.

microdermabrasion?
I have the Rodan and Fields microderm abrasion machine and I do it myself weekly. I love the results. I believe it $250; and I will have it forever as opposed to the more expensive prices you pay at the dermatoligist.
