One last IUI
I started one last IUI cycle today. If this cycle doesn't work, I already have a consult set up with Dr. T in the city in mid July.
I pay oop for everything, and I don't want to pay for IVF if I have some underlying immune issues that caused all the losses.
So we'll see how this cycle goes and take it from there. I asked Dr. Brenner if there was anything different or extra we could try for my one last 'hail mary' cycle and he said no. It's either this - 25mg clomid cycle - or move on to IVF w/ PGD.
I haven't been posting much since I've taken a few months off from cycling, but I have been stalking the boards daily!! :)

Why wouldn't he suggest moving on to injectables with iui before jumping to Ivf? That's normally the next step unless there is a specific diagnosis that only Ivf would give you a shot.

My RE was not big on me using injectables either with IUI. She said my response would be better with clomid or Femara. Two IVFs later and she is completely right. My body does not respond well to any injectables and I made only 1 semi good quality egg per cycle. I'm not sure the science behind it but something to do with my hormones.

I had asked about doing femara or clomid & femara this cycle and he kinda just ignored it and said there was nothing else we could try for now.
