Pop's Seafood Shack in Island Park or another recommendation
I have heard great things about this place for the night life but has anyone gone for dinner with their kids? I'm trying to find a place to go out to eat for my birthday in July. I want a place where we (DH, DS and I) can eat outside on the water and is family friendly. I'm in western Suffolk, south shore, but I'm willing to travel a bit for such a special occasion

The food isn't great but if u go early it's awesome for the entire family

What about BayVue in Lindenhurst or Hurricanes in Lindenhurst.
Hurricanes isn;t "nice" but its fun, food is good and you can sit outside.
Bayvue is def nicer and food is good and you can even sit up on the roof.
Pops you would have to go EARLY for it to be family friendly IMO

Pop's Seafood Shack in Island Park or another recommendation
We went to pops for lunch and we had dd in her stroller at 3 months or so. It is very kid friendly during the day. Families were hanging out on the beach part. Food was just ok, I mean it's not gourmet or anything.
