Restaurant recommendations before Jones Beach concert
DH and I have tickets to a concert at Jones Beach on Saturday night. We want to grab dinner somewhere before hand. I was considering Grillefire or the original George Martin. DH suggested Snaps, but we are both somewhat picky and the menu seems limited.
Any other suggestions along those lines that aren't too far from Jones Beach (we will be coming from Levittown)?

We will be there too! We're going to 'tailgate' in the parking lot, but you mentioned the original George Martin and I love that place! We live in RVC and go there all the time.

I love going to Snaps before concerts at the beach. Maybe try Thom Thom if you don't think you would like Snaps

Pancho's Cantina in Island Park for something fun, or if you want to be on the water, there is the Fisherman's Catch. You can also go on the Nautical Mile in Freeport, and take the meadowbrook south from there.

I've never eaten here myself, but I've heard good things about Singleton's Seafood Shack.

Snaps is delicious and we've never been disappointed when we've gone. Food is very fresh and they have interesting things on the menu.
I'd definitely make a reservation though.
We went to Grillfire once and that was enough. Very disappointed. It kind of reminded me of chain-quality food.
