Looking for a place to suggest 30-somethings to go out in eastern Queens
Putting together a guys and girls night out for friends and we want to stay local (Eastern queens or borderline Nassau) so we can cab it home - but if you have something further west or east that is awesome and worth it please let me know! I was going to suggest Donovan's in bayside - but I am afraid the bar area might not be big enough - we could be a group of 30.
I also don't want to feel too old so a 20-something crowd is not what we are looking for!
Thanks so much!
I would love an outdoor area but not required! I was at Sullivan's a lot in my twenties and went there recently and felt old - lol - so that's out too! Thanks!

For a crowd that large I would go to the beer garden in Astoria

Biergarten
This is in Franklin Square, but it's on the border of Elmont (first town in Nassau).

I also agree with the Biergarten in Franklin Square
Other suggestions...
Duggans in Floral Park - me and DH's favorite! Can definitely accommodate that number of people.
Park Place in Floral Park (Depending on how many people - it's a beautiful bar but a bit on the smaller side)
Tap House in Forest Hills Station House in Forest Hills

ITA. We had my FIL's retirement party there and it was great!
There's lots of nice restaurant/bars on Tulip Avenue in Floral Park. My brother bartends at Duggan's and, while I like the bar, it does get quite packed! They have an upstairs room you could rent if that's something you would be interested in.
Jameson's is another great bar on Tulip Avenue. They have really good food and they don't get as packed as Duggan's - there's also a small outdoor area in the back with some tables and TVs.

Yup! I haven't been to the older one, but love Studio Square. Awesome setting.
