LONGTIME COMING- WE SOLD! vendor rave- Christine Braun- realtor
Just wanted to say that last month we FINALLY closed on our house. I've posted on these boards since 2010 about trying to sell our home. We researched tons of areas and finally decided on the SD we wanted to buy in. Unfortunately as a result of buying our home in 2007- height of the market we were unsuccessful in selling for 3 years. I constantly came on the home board for selling advice and Christine Braun from Century 21 Dallow always responded to my posts - she offered great advice always- so I started telling DH after every post Made- "the realtor from LIF said this.... The LIF realtor thinks.".. Etc etc.
In 2013 we decided we were going to give selling one last shot- and we decided its time to use Christine and not just pick her brain on a random internet board.
I felt that she was always honest with what we should do where as the other listing agents just told us what we wanted to hear.
We met with Christine end of January (if I am correct after a huge snowstorm) and she gave us a honest market appraisal for our home and listened to all our concerns (as selling wasn't new for us).
We signed with her pretty much right away. I have to say her "service" was like nothing else we experienced with our listing agents for the past 3 years. We actually received feedback CONSISTENTLY from her - each showing she would follow up with and never minded ( or acted like she didn't mind lol) when I pestered her to get feedback from non responsive realtors.
We had a few offers the first full weekend the house was listed and Christine guided us on what offer we should consider. She also acted as a great negotiator through the entire process. (She also was our buyers agent as well and without her i don't think we would have appropriately negotiated and got the house we ultimately bought.)
She is extremely reachable by phone emails and texts and so detail oriented (as am I).
She would answer my texts as late at 1030 at night and never made me feel (or DH) as if we were bothering her. She didn't even get annoyed when we would change our mind on a offer with 10 min!
She was a great professional and I will recommend her to anyone looking to sell or buy or BOTH!!
It was an extremely stressful time in my life as I was pregnant with many complications as well and Christine was so calming through the whole process. She was really outstanding and deserves this LONG rave!
Eta: my dd still asks if Christine is coming to the house when we go there (didn't officially move in yet) LOL!!!!

I have to say, she is definitely a class act! She sounds like she surely stands above the rest. Glad your process went smooth thanks to her!

She was/is.
We actually had so many issues arise with both deals and she was a HUGE help all of the time. She goes the extra mile. I don't think any agent would go as far as she does. Trust me- DH and I were certainly annoying at times and she never once made us feel that way!

Congrats on your sale! So glad things worked out. I completely agree about Christine, she goes above and beyond every time I have a question. Even though I must be driving her nuts (lol) she doesn't make me feel that way!

Congratulations and I have to jump on the Christine love fest lol.
I posted here a couple of times when we were having issues closing on our home and the level of detail I received from Christine was extremely helpful. Only a true professional will take the time to answer with such great detail when they don't personally have "skin in the game".

Thank you all so much! I really appreciate the review (and responses)! It means so much to me.
Real estate is such a competitive business, so when someone selects me to work with them, I view it as a privilege! For most people, selling or buying a house is the biggest financial transaction of their life, so I understand the stress. It's not annoying at all to ask questions... You should, it's what I am here for!
To Serendipity, tell your daughter I will definitely be coming by to check out the new house as soon as you are in. I can't wait to see it!
