What's this about now?
So I picked up DS earlier from my ILs and notice he has this huge bruise near his wrist.
I was like, what happened to you?
He then proceeds to tell us (he had been playing by himself for most of the afternoon), that he was biting his arm.
He likes it and it feels good.
Then shows us and did it a few times on ride home.
I know he does have sensory issues but it's really noticeable.
He fell asleep so I probably can't address it tonight.
I also am thinking that I shouldn't make a big deal or he will continue for attention....

I would address it asap. I work with an individual who enjoys biting his wrist too. He wears the sweat bands so he bites that rather than the skin..possibly try this until he sees an ot?
I would maybe see what happens tomorrow and if it continues maybe say nothing and put the wrist bands on to see what happens?
