My dog
My sweet bullmastiff Oscar passed away yesterday at only 6 years old. He had several health problems but he was the most loving, affectionate and personable dog I have ever known. DH and I are beside ourselves. At least he's at peace now.

Poor pup! So sorry for your loss!
Did you ever hear that story about the little boy who had to put his dog to sleep and said the following quote, it seems relevant here:
"Everybody is born so that they can learn how to live a good life - like loving everybody and being nice, right?" The four-year-old continued, "Well, animals already know how to do that, so they don't have to stay as long."

so sorry, my dog was put down a years ago this week and I still miss her. Its SOO hard, they are part of the family. My thoughts are with you both
