not sure if you have baby bargains book, but they have a lot of other options that I wasn't even aware of.
Based on reviews in that book I got the Natart Avalon collection

We got our crib from BBB - it's the Pali Lucca crib, we wanted a simple white crib which was very hard to find. The other option was Pottery Barn, but pricing wise didn't work for us.
We also went to look at Behr's I think - but found them to be overly priced, and I didn't like that we couldn't just pick up and assemble crib on our own but would have to pay.

We got our crib from diapers.com because babies r' us discontinued the color I wanted - brand is Graco.
We ordered our changing table and dresser from sears.com it is Southshore brand which I read about in the baby bargains book. DH had to put the furniture together but he was very happy with the quality of this furniture.

We got ours from Bellini. You could also check Behrs or PBK. Restoration hardware has some I think as well.

We got all of the nursery furniture from IKEA. We paid $$$$ for DD's furniture, but now that we're expecting twins we decided to go with something more affordable. I was surprised by how nice the IKEA cribs are and they were pretty easy to put together. (I put together all the furniture myself at 29 weeks pregnant.)
We got the Sundvik.

We'll be using DD's nursery furniture. Sorelle Verona. Excellent quality for a great price and we were able to use 20% off coupons on each piece from BRU.

Just realized you were the same poster that posted about the PBK crib the other day, sorry!
My hubby wouldn't spend that much either…he told me I was crazy for wanting to spend so much on her furniture. My grandma ended up getting it as a gift for her, the first great-grandchild.

I'm having twins and got 2 ikea hensvik cribs. We just put them together today and I love them! Very sturdy and pretty, plus they were only $100 a piece.

i love this, especially since i want to do gray furniture in the nursery!
It was pricey, but since our parents were buying it for us they told us to not worry and get what we loved. They had otHer grey sets that's were more affordable also. That being said I also loved one that was navy and grey but the dresser alone was $1700, yikes!! I walked away from that one quickly. They had a ton there and we figured we would just pop I. Since we live down the block.
