4th IUI today...
So my 4th IUI was scheduled for today. My first with Dr. Wang.
Well, it didn't happen. We ended up with 300,000 sperm post wash and he wanted the number to be 5 million or above. I decided not to do the IUI since it's the last one covered by insurance and very very low odds of being successful. How is it that last month we had 21 million and this month 300,000? I was beyond upset.
On the positive side... Dr. Wang is AMAZING!!! He stayed with me for at least a half hour answering my questions, giving me options and most of all support. The compassion he has and words of encouragement are the reason why I'm able to sit here and type this out, even though I still have tears in my eyes.

Sorry you couldn't do the IUI. Its better you didn't since you have one left. Definitely BD tonight! You never know.
What did Dr. Wang think could have caused the lower number? Did your DH release recently? I know too long and to soon might not be good. DH usually did like 3 days before IUI.
I hope your next IUI brings higher numbers. I know this is all so stressful, hang in there.

Dr. Wang said we could BD two nights ago but not last night. We last BD on Saturday so we went two nights without. We didn't discuss why but my husband and I both will get back to yoga this month and try accupuncture. He also suggested conception XR which I just ordered.

I am sorry. I agree with your plan though. Ya know they do say that the sperm ejaculated is from months/weeks ago so maybe he was drinking or wasn't as healthy as when the last ejaculation was from.

Okay so your timing was good. Sometimes these things just happen. It sucks but since he had good numbers in the past hopefully it was just a fluke. GL

I'm so sorry. It really does sound like you did the right thing by holding off since it's your last covered. Yoga and acupuncture are a great move too!!!
