Belly bandit
Hi ladies...
I am scheduled to have a c-section on Sept 5. I was wondering if anyone plans on using or has used the belly bandit? Does it work? It is worth the money??
Thanks...

Re: Belly bandit
I used it after I delivered DD early last year and plan to use it again after I deliver this baby.

I used it and loved it. It def worked for me. If you're having a csection you may want the bamboo one bc it's softer on your incision.

Re: Belly bandit
Thanks ladies! With my DS, my belly didn't go down right away. How do you figure what size to get? Where is the best/cheapest place to get it? Is bamboo a different type?

OP, This is why you will get very different feedback. I was 102 lbs when I got pregnant with DD. I have been petite my entire life. Even with using the Belly Bandit, it took wayyyyyy longer than one week for my stomach to go down. Genetics play a huge role in what happens. There is just no way to know.
PitterPatter, I am in awe of your quick recovery and completely jealous!

The bamboo is much softer than the others, so it is a bit more comfortable. With DD, I started out with the small and them went to the xs as my stomach went down. The first week, I needed DH to help me close the small because it was too tight and I couldn't do it myself. The website tells you how to determine your size. As for pricing, I did a search for the product and then ordered it from the site with the best price.

Re: Belly bandit
That's a great idea to go to buy but baby. Also, did you ladies wear it right away (in the hospital)? How long did you wear it for?

I had it but it didn't seem to do much. Also, I am short, maybe have a short torso, and I couldn't really wear it comfortably, almost had to wear it down below my crotch to fit my stomach properly.

I found it VERY uncomfortable- I am not short but I have a short torso. I was unable to sit comfortably or nurse my daughter while wearing it. My stomach went down quickly on its own.
