Has anyone trained for a marathon while on weight watchers?

I'm doing this right now..down 5 pounds my first week!! Feeling better cause I know the extra 20 pounds I'm carrying around is hurting my runs.

However, I have a long run today...16 miles which is about 3 hours straight of running for me. If you've marathon trained and tried to lose weight with WW how many activity points did you eat back?? I don't want to sabotage my loss. It says I'll earn 37 points for the run, however, I'm thinking I should eat back less than half of that?? If anyone has info please let me know! TIA!!

I have not trained for a marathon nor do I run but in the last meeting they discussed activity points and basically what I got out of it my leader wont use her activity points to boost her weight loss. with that said I assume if you are running that much you will be hungrier so you may want/need to eat more than I would probably shoot to only use maybe half of that if you want to loose more weight if you don't care about boosting it then feel free to use it all. however as is I rarely use my extra 49 points a week ( I track and don't do simply filling) the only time I use them is when I have events where I know I wont be able/want to stay in my allocated time. This is my second round of weight watchers the first time I tracked, didn't really use my extra weekly points and worked out (didn't use the points either) and I lost 40 + pounds and made lifetime... this time around I don't work out and I have already lost 42 lbs. From what I hear working out running can make you not loose and maybe look like you gain some weeks so I would expect that to happen at time.
