Egg Free/Nut Free Bday cake options?
My DS will be 1 on Sunday and we are having his party at the house. He is allergic to Eggs and all nuts and we eat mostly organically. I was planing on making a no bake cheesecake, but I did a practice run yesterday and it wasn't very good. Anyone have any other ideas that are pretty simple? I was thinking of doing something with vanilla pudding, maybe an icebox cake or trifle. Would that be lame? I can use Annie's Honey Bunnies as a crust for something since they are nut free.

I don't think a vanilla pudding pie is lame. I think Pamela's cupcake/cake mixes are dairy and gluten free... maybe look into that brand. I know gluten free not sure about egg.

my favorite is the classic vanilla cake mix but I never tried the chocolate.

Do you live close to bellmore? There is a bakery there that is dairy, nut, gluten and egg free.

There is wild flours bakery in huntington. They are gluten free, dairy free, and nut free. They also have vegan options. If you call her and ask about how she uses ingredients, she is very open about it. She also uses organic ingredients when possible and unrefined sugars!
