Poodles

If anyone has a poodle, can you tell me about their personality / needs? Do they have separation anxiety?


eta: I had one as a kid but my mom was home all day...i dont remember her being anxious.

I have a lab/poodle mix, from what I have read poodles tend to have the same temperments/behaviors as labs. Our dog is very sweet and loves people and other dogs. She never had seperation anxiety, but she sure is happy when we come home. HTH..

I had a purebred toy poodle growing up and although I loved him to death-he was not the nicest of dogs-to me atleast-he loved my father like crazy-but not me-I might have annoyed him a little too much...

he was smart though-trained easily

when we would go away on vacation and leave him with friends-it was BAD news-he would go to the bathroom everywhere...and bite them...

Daily separation was fine though
