Pains at the top of your legs/thighs?
So I had shooting pains in my thighs and top of my legs when labor began w DS. Today I felt these pains, not as intense but similar. I am wondering if these are just normal pains, maybe I am dilating or if it is a sign of labor...could they be round ligament pain or is that only in the belly?
Sorry if this question sounds stupid lol

Like in the groin area or where your leg meets your hip? I get pain, more like cramps there too. For me this is def like pre labor or false labor. It happens with the stomach tightness and some mild backaches too.

groin but more front of top of legs...I cant recall if I had these for a while before going into labor or just when I went into labor...

Sounds like we might be experiencing the same thing. I have had this on and off for about a week. I don't really remember it with my other 2 dc, but then again I don't really remember much these days

I only remember it bc it was painful I was screaming out F U C K as I was walking w my mom to the car after eating at a diner ...this isnt as consistent though, now not at all. Maybe this means we are dilating or something? lol

I had this. It wasn't related to labor.
For the last month or 2 I would get this sharp shooting pain in my groin area and shooting down my thigh.
It was so bad and it would stop me in my tracks if I was walking. I also remember not being able to get up off the toilet because it hit when I was sitting peeing a few times and the pain made it almost impossible to move.
I think the baby was lying on a nerve or something. It was horrendous.

Yeah it could totally be just one of the many end of pregnancy pains but since I only remember it from labor it was bugging me out last night lol today I have had it but not consistent and not as intense as when I was in labor.

Oh my goodness, you poor thing! I had that for like the last 3 weeks of my first pregnancy. It was agony. I felt like my legs were going to give away from under me at any minute, I could barely walk, putting on pants was a nightmare, etc. The only words of encouragement I have is that it will go away after the baby is born. Hang in there!
