I still wear the ones that I have but I will never purchase another pair again. Some pics and videos circulated around the internet of how poorly the sheep are treated and how inhumanely they are made so i dont have the heart to buy them anymore even though I love them
This!! I have three pairs and I wear them but I'll never buy another.

Yes I still wear them (not right now since it's 85 degrees), but once autumn rolls around they will be on my feet. Love them with leggings or skinny jeans.

I never wore them ( just looking at them makes my feet sweat!) but last winter I think I saw fewer people wearing them.
That might be b/c we had a lot of snow & they aren't the most practical for that, but I think they are becoming less popular.
They are definitely less of a "have to have them" item.
But, if they are super comfortable & you want to wear them to walk the dog, I wouldn't blame you!

Yes, but as others said for comfort and not for style.
I work at home and have two kids. On cold days when I need to run errands locally I throw them on or even picking up takeout.

I don't understand why so many people were shocked that sheepskin boots are made of actual sheep skin !
I'm not sure if you were referring to me but I was very aware that they were made of sheepskin. If you read my post, I stated that it was because of how inhumanely the sheepskin was obtained. I'm not sure where your comment is coming from. It came off rude and im not sure if that was your intention.

I don't think that people didn't realize that they were made of sheepskin, I think it was the fact that it came out that the sheep were skinned alive that was more upsetting.

Actually, now that I just read my own post, I'm pretty disgusted w/myself for keeping mine after knowing that and I think I'm going to list them on eBay tonight and donate the $$ to aspca.

Definitely wasn't my intention. Was referencing the shock from last year's thread, it wasn't directed towards you
