This! I actually am using them for my DH birthday party tomorrow night. I have two dresses at home waiting for me to chose from. I love this site!

Re: dresses for wedding

And they offered me like 25 dollars or 25 percent- can't remember which- off as a first time user.

It was great.

Super easy and lets you wear a great dress for a small price.

And let's face it- how many times do we really wear these dresses we buy for weddings?
Huge waste IMO

This way you wear it, send it back when finished- DONE!

I am 5 foot tall. Is there any hope of me finding a dress on this?

Definitely..they have lots of petite dresses!

I have the opposite problem, I'm 5'9 so a lot of dresses are too short on me. What I love about the site is that 'regular' people upload pictures of themselves in the dress and tell you their height/body type so that you can get a better feel of how the dress will fit you.

Re: dresses for wedding

How is RTR in terms of sizing?

I am guessing if you select multiple dresses, you have to pay the rental fee for all of them?

My SIL is getting married next year so this seems like a great option but I feel like I always have to try stuff on....

I have been looking over the site and it looks like you get a free second size. Also the pics of people wearing it are helpful. Pretty cool!

You can get a free second size and if you rent a different second dress, they give it to you at a discount. I did this for my DH's birthday in July and I'm going to do it again next month. Great experience!

They do have locations in the city - I went to Henri Bendel because it's right by my office.

I got a nice dress for a wedding this summer.
They have TONS of hot dresses. Go browse- you will be amazed.
They let you chose 2 sizes for the same price. You wear the one that fits best and return them both the next day.
They also have tons of reviews and real life pics. So you can find another woman with a similar height/weight/ dress size as you, and see how it looked on her- rather than just on the bean pole models! Chat Icon

Yes you pick 2 sizes- and you wear the one that fits best and just return both the next day. No extra charge for that.
I loved that because my dress ran small so I was glad to have ordered the size up as my extra size.

Stupid question, what if neither dress fits right? Are you just out the money?

This is my concern as well!

I'm short but have a big ass and chest so I often have to try on like 85 dresses before I settle on something in the store.

So a few things with that...
First, you have to really research the dress you are interested in with the real life reviews and pics. Find a wonan with similar measurements/body type to you and see what size she wore and how the dress looked on her. They have tons of detailed reviews with pictures from real women.

Second, you get the dress for 4 days. So they tell you to order it for delivery 2 days before your event. ..then you return it the day after the event. The night you get it, try it on immediately. If both sizes they sent don't fit they tell you to call and they will have a stylist work with you to either get you anothrr size overnight air or work on a new style free of charge. You have that extra day to work with.
