AFOs casting
My DDs AFOs got approved by EI--the orthotisist person is coming to the house to cast her.
Just wanted to know if anyone has experience with this---I'm nervous that its going to be traumatic!!

It's not a big deal. They just wrap a gauze like material around their feet and legs to just below the knee. They dampen it, let it dry a bit then cut it off with scissors.

DS had this done in the office and it was okay. He didn't like it but we got through it.

AFOs casting
We are on our 3rd set. My son is almost 3yrs. It really is not a big deal its just hard to hold them on lap while getting it done. My guy is real wiggle worm & considering didnt want it done, didnt help. We are starting to get more familiar with our guy "ED" and I think next time might be better.
