She's here!
Our gorgeous baby girl is here! 9 days early and nothing went how I planned, but it was for the best!
I went to l and d with contractions. After TWO HOURS in the waiting room, I was seen and I was 1 cm so they wanted to send me home. I was in so much pain I asked them to monitor me. An hour later, my water broke. I got some pain meds which where great for an hour. Then horrible pain again. So my dr said I could get an epi if I agreed to poticin. Fine. In about six hours I went to 4 cm. by fifteen hours I was 6 cm. my dr went home. I started feeling awful pressure and the need to push. At 7 am I told the new nurse, and she said I needed to tough it out, I was only 6 cm and progressing slowly. I KNEW I was ready. I screamed for a dr. About 7:15, I was examined. Her head was right there, fully dilated and ready! They called my dr who made it just in time. 6 pushes later (after stalling) at 7:44 our gorgeous girl was born :)

Yayayay!! Congrats!! Were you at NSUH? I am here and they were so busy yesterday when I delivered I am sure that is why they were trying to send you home lol my doctor delivered seven babies before noon! we might be neighbors right now ha!

It's been a full moon- from what I understand from L&D nurses, full moons really do increase the number of births!
