First appt with Dr. Bashian
I'm going for my first prenatal appt with Bashian next month (8 week appt).
This is my second baby but first time at new dr. What can I expect? What are the Sonos like? Does she do the sono or a tech? Does she do blood at first appt?

First appt with Dr. Bashian
She had a ton of bw, and transvag sono by the tech (can't remember her name but she is very sweet). Also weight and urine. I find her to be very relaxed and laid back, which sometimes relaxes me too much where I forget my questions. I saw her last night for my 28 week apt and made sure I had a list of questions on my lap ready to go when she came in. I find her to be very honest. Good luck!!!

I didn't have a sonogram at my first prenatal appointment with her. I had sono prior to that appointment to confirm uterine pregnancy (which I already knew since I was using an RE to get pregnant; mini vent ). They did BW, urine, medical history (weird since I was an existing patient of hers). That was about it! She is sweet! I love Dr Frenkel as well, but I didn't see her until I was towards the end of my pregnancy and Dr B was on vacation. I love Dawn (her nurse). Only thing that sucks are the wait times and if she gets stuck at the hospital. Was there for for over 2 1/2 hours last week.

I'm pretty sure I was there at the same time as you last week. I waited about 2 1/2 hours as well b/c she was stuck at the hospital. It was just a quick checkup too, but I couldn't reschedule since I had no other free days so I had to wait. I saw someone in the room with a baby that looks like your profile pic!
To the OP…at times the wait really sucks, but I feel very comfortable with her, and love the nurses. So, to me, the wait is worth it. The soon tech Kelly is the sweetest.
