help

If you had a party at a nice restaurant to go to where would you shop for an outfit?
I never have anything to wear at these type of functions I do NOT dress up so I need to buy something I have been to NY&co and Ann Taylor but didn't see anything

any suggestions?
also like to add that I am not a size 0 lol I wear like an 8 like to hide the tummy

Ok - first of all, a size 8 is not big !!!

Second - get yourself a little black dress. It is a wardrobe staple that can we worn to anything and everything and can easily be dressed up, or down - and dramatically changed with shoes, jewlery, a scarf, cardigan, blazer - etc.

My favorites are wraps - I just got this plan sheath from the Limited -
I have it in Black, Navy and Wine (I have to dress business formal for work everyday) - I always get compliments on this ridiculously plan dress .....and it is the easiest thing to wear -

ok so I just got back from shopping and got a top I will wear with black leggings and boots that are a few inches under the knee with a heel
the shirt is a bit longer in the back and decent length in the front
I am a jeans and tshirt or hoodie type of girl so this is dressed up for me lol
