need new pool company
BUMP!!
eastern suffolk
looking for someone reliable, COURTEOUS, if owner not present has someone on site with a brain, and with office staff that is helpful not stressful.
this is for next season.
I have had a few companies in the past 8 years and had several issues. I am not super particular but i would like the company to maybe make notes so they don't just throw my pool items all over my property & that i trust on my property. Also i would prefer that they stick to a schedule- come on the day that they tell me they will (i do not like to be told that i am "bumped" for higher dollar area customers).
recommendations appreciated!

I have bounced around a few pool companies. The worst was Sharky's..horrible horrible experience with them. STEER CLEAR
I have been using Plum Perfect pools for the past few years and am very happy with their prices and service. I used to not like their office staff, but they got new staff last year, and they are much nicer.

Swim King is reputable, but we are using Spech-Tachular.....They start digging tomorrow!!!!!
They are brother and sister, and have been so great to work with so far. They are on this site.

they fit me in on a moments notice they day after my pool was installed
they just closed in tuesday-
they were always available for my first year pool owner texts and freak outs

HAHAHA. they sound good. I have had a few freak outs.... my original guy couldn't raise his eyes above my boobs, then my pool pump/filter went on fire, the company that replaced that gave me a cartridge filter (worst thing ever)... there were cuts the size of knife holes in my pool (like 10-12) that caused $600 worth of water leakage in two years ... then i got the liner replaced-- that company is the one with office/staff problems.

We're out east and have used a few different companies.
We didn't have favorable dealings with Arthur Edwards, the office staff was really rude to me, three different times. Also they don't put the chemicals in, you have to call the retail side and buy them separately and then put them in yourself. I don't want to do it myself, that's why I hired someone.
Swimtech was great and very responsive but a little expensive and they wanted full payment up front.
We started using Haven Pools this year and very happy with them. They fixed a few things that were messed up with our system.
