or do some dr only do once and not two days in a row.

Some re's like to do them if the washed sperm count was less than 5 million. My 2nd iui cycle was b2b and I got a bfp that cycle. For me I felt that 2nd iui was better timed.

we only had one. i am convinced they "missed" my time frame and that's why. it worked though!
ETA- they told me they would probably do 2, and i ordered 2 vials of DS

We only did one back to back out of the 5 iui cycles we have done. The only reason the dr wanted back to back that cycle was because of low count. The count was way better on the 2nd day. The iui cycle I got pregnant was not a back to back however.

The RE I go to only does 1 IUI. Mostly 24 hours after trigger but, I have had them 36 hours after trigger as well.

It really all depends on the practice; and I have belonged to many.
Some have done back to back IUI's and some have done only one.
Had nothing to do with counts b/c DH's counts were always high.

Mine were never back to back. I did 6 IUIS. I think if your DHs sample is on the low end they may have you go back for a back to back. Some practices just do back to back as their protocol. GL

4 IUIs, 2 were back to back and 2 were one day.
It depends on when you ovulate, the size of your follicle, when it actually drops, etc.
For example the first time they triggered me and it was positioned to drop, it dropped completely that night. So they only did one IUI. The next time it was still lingering the next day, so they did 2.
DH's numbers were always high too, so it didn't have to do with that.
