when will this bloating end

This is my 3rd pregnancy, but I swear I don't remember this much bloating with my first 2. I know bloating is common early on, but I will be 16 weeks this weekend and it is not going away. I wake up in the morning looking barely pregnant and can fit nicely into my clothes. By the time the day ends I look like I am 6-7 months pregnant. It is insane! Is it common to have so much bloating into the second trimester??

I went straight from bloat to bump. I will say that now that the constipation has really set in, my bump looks so much bigger before I go, then immediately after it shrinks down a little. Also, as you eat your belly is going to get bigger throughout the day. This is my first, and I have been wearing maternity pants since 12 weeks.

mine didn't end and i'm 37 weeks. I'm much smaller in the morning than towards the end of the day/night. Same with all 3 pregnancies of mine.

Same here. I wake up with nothing and throughout the day after I eat I get a belly.

I was just reading about this because I dont remember feeling like this with my first either. Apparently hormones slow down your bowels to absorb every last morsel of nutrient from your food to pass along to the baby.
