When to donate meds?
How far along in a pregnancy do you think is okay to donate your unused fertility meds? I have this crazy thought in my mind that giving them away too soon will jinx everything. I know, crazy. So what time is appropriate? End of 1st trimester? Thanks, ladies!

What meds to you girls have? I am paying out of pocket for everything! My doc office is seeing what they have around the office but would def. buy from you girls! Let me know!

When to donate meds?
Mine were going to expire so I did it while still in my first trimester. If that was not the case, I would have held onto them for a bit. The good news is that the two people who received them now have DC. Yay! :)

I feel the same way. I just started 2nd Trimester but I feel like I am jinxing it to let them go. Especially considering how much they cost me.
My next door neighbor may be trying IVF, so I will probably hold onto them until she decides she is going that route, and then give them to her. But otherwise I'll probably let them go when I start cleaning out the guest bathroom to put baby's stuff in it. Then I'll probably come here to donate.

I waited a long time with my last pregnancy and this pregnancy to donate HPTs and endometrin which is no longer covered by my insurance. But I was willing to donate meds like pred and metformin as soon as I was done with them because I could always get more with little or no copay if needed.

lol - i totally understand....I felt the same way. i think i was about 4/5 mos before i did. I think i only did it then because some of the meds were going to expire soon and i didnt want them going to waste!
