BTDT - PUPPS
Well I was just told I have PUPPS, I know it goes away after birth but I am curious how soon after birth? I literally want to rip my skin off. Benadryl lotion is working but only for so long.
Did anything else help you ladies? Thankfully I am due Tuesday so I don't have to suffer that long with it.

My friend had it with her first pregnancy (but not with her second) - I think she said it went away pretty much immediately after she had her DD. She had to suffer with it for almost 5 months ... be happy you only have a week or so.

My friend also had it and swore by v-8 juice and grandpas pine tar soap.

I had it with my 2nd pregnancy. The discomfort was unreal. I also used grandpa's pine soap but relief only lasted for a short while after showering. One thing that really helped me with the itching was using my dc#1's diaper rash cream all over my stomach. Relief was instant & lasted for a while.

i had a mild case with my first pregnancy. It must have went away immediately cause I don't remember having it at all after DS was born.

PUPPS is a pregnancy related rash which goes away after the baby is born. It personally started on my stomach and now has spread to my legs and under my breasts. It does not affect the baby at all it is just super uncomfortable.

Pine tar soap helped a little. I got PUPPs a little after 31w pregnant with my  . I delivered them at 37w3d. PUPPs was awful. Wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. I was begging dr. to deliver me. I slept with socks on my hands bc I would itch so much. I tried everything-calamine, desitin, yes even ketchup to try to calm the itching. I can even cry just remembering this 3 years ago!
I had a very severe case and wound up going on a steroid about 6 weeks after I delivered to help. Was bummed bc I had to stop breastfeeding. Hang in there! Most cases it goes away right after delivery.
