a good laugh for anyone who needs one!
trying a slow cooker for the first time ever, making dh spicy chicken drumsticks LOL!!!
I don't cook so god help him. And i'm veg so i won't be eating this.
We've contemplated a slow cooker for a while and i just happened to get one from someone who was giving it away.
my first observation: the outside gets very hot. I'm home right now (wasn't willing to leave it on all day while not home for the first time). I don't have the instruction manual but looked it up online and all it says is the lid will get hot. So this makes me nervous. I don't have it near anything that can catch fire but still nervous. I know people use these things all the time but help me get past this!
stay tuned for an update in a few hours LOL!
