How early can I make cupcakes?
I need cupcakes for Halloween. I am busy the day before. Can I make them Wednesday and frost them and everything be ok?

I'd make the cupcakes and store them in an airtight container on the counter. I wouldn't frost them until the day before, though. You can probably make the frosting on Wednesday.

Honestly, I would make them on Wednesday and frost them. I think they would be totally fine for Friday. I'd store them covered in the fridge and bring up to room temp before serving.
I often make baked goods/desserts in advance (2-3 days) when I am hosting a party or a holiday. I've never had an issue.
