Re: Help

What helped me was any sour candy, preferably Sour Patch Kids. Feel better!

Help

Nothing really helped. But it was better if I sucked it up and drank water to stay hydrated. And I kept crackers by my bedside and with me at all times.

Re: Help

I found cinnamon to also help as well. And there are lozenges for the nausea-I think they are called B-natal. You can ask your pharmacist, most drug stores carry them, but they may need to get ordered.

Feel better soon. I know what it's like!

Re: Help

Ok, so this is gross - but my advice is don't try to stop yourself from throwing up. With my first baby I really tried to hold it in because I hate throwing up and it's totally gross. After living with a baby my grossness threshhold has gone up and now I just go with it. I have felt a lot better this time around.

Good luck!

Re: Help

For me, pickles and olives helped. Something about the briney-ness mollified me enough. I also have been sucking on the preggie drops. In the morning, a cup of decaf tea and morning sickness tea from EarthMamaAngelBaby has helped too.

Re: Help

It will get better!
I never threw up but had the constant hung over/nausea thing from weeks 6-8.

Things that helped --
Sea bands
Lemon candies
Peppermint candies
Applesauce
Bananas
Dry things like almond crackers with cheese and hummas
Lemonade
Eat what you are craving or are not adverse to only and avoid the things that make you queasy. I remember the smell of my favorite yellow rice made me want to die lol it passed.
Talk to your Dr if it's preventing you from keeping down fluids. They offer Diclegis and Zofran which are anti nausea meds. The only bad things are sleepiness and constipation so I avoided taking them.

Help

I had this too for my first and 2nd trimester.
I tried a few things and was even on Zofran (which works btw) But soon after I couldnt get my doctors to refill so I made due with Ginger.
Candied ginger from the natural food store.
I just popped one in every morning and it did the trick. I found just chewing it helped too if I didnt feel like eating it.

Help

Sorry hope you feel better. I had bad morning sickness. I was put on Diclegis I was still nauseous but at least I stopped throwing up for a bit. Also not many places sell it but the Seabands company make a ginger gum and it helped. Hope you feel better.
