When do mom and baby
Share blood or placenta ( I know I am not saying this very scientifically, lol ) basically, when can what you eat / drink ingest affect the baby.

If I remember correctly, shared blood flow begins around 6 weeks. And by the end of your first trimester (between 10-12 weeks) the placenta has fully taken over. Basically, once you find out you're pregnant, what you ingest affects the baby.

So if you drank early in your cycle say days 7 thru 11 it would not affect the baby ?

I finished off a bottle of wine the day before i got my BFP at 14DPO with my DS. People do lots worse....I would not worry about it.

I finished off a bottle of wine the day before i got my BFP at 14DPO with my DS. People do lots worse....I would not worry about it.
I didn't know I was pregnant and drank a LOT.

I remember telling my Dr at my first appt and he said, it's fine, really.
I said, you don't understand. I drank A LOT!
He laughed and said, it's OK. You dont' share anything until 6 weeks anyway.
All was well.
