Water tastes so bleh....
Drinking water makes me more nauseous than I already am....I dont want to drink soda or tea because of caffeine/sugar....I dont want to drink too much Gatorade/Vitamin Water because of the sugar. Anyone have any good drink recipes? What can I add to water (besides lemons) to make it taste good without a lot of extra junk?

Water tastes so bleh....
Sometimes when I get sick of it I throw a splash of juice in my water to flavor it a little bit

Get this!
I love putting cut up oranges or grapefruits in it.
But you can put any fruit you like.
It makes drinking water SO much more bearable.
ETA- they have it at amazon. Just search- fruit diffuser

I flavor my water with fruit slices -- mostly lemons, limes, and oranges. I also drink flavored seltzer which has no added sugar -- just flavored water but carbonated. I happen to LOVE seltzer but know its not something everyone enjoys. Every now and then, I'll have an iced tea or a regular soda but in moderation.

I drank a lot of flavored seltzer. It is sort of an acquired taste. I love it but many people don't. Just watch what you're buying and read the label, you don't want the flavored water which often has artificial sweetener in it. The flavored seltzer has nothing in it.

Re: Water tastes so bleh....
This was me and I drank a ton of water pre-pregnancy. I couldn't even tolerate a sip of water but luckily at 17 weeks, I am back to drinking it. What I found was my best option, I would get a bottle of gatorade or snapple and take a few sips and then add in water and basically drink some, add water, and continue this all day until it was pretty much all water but still had a different taste. It helped me to drink the water and tolerate it without drinking a ton of sugary drinks.

I had the same problem. I found that if I put a lot of ice in the water it somehow tasted better. Also, I was in a restaurant and they had this juice called Looza - it comes in a bunch of flavors and you basically just add a little but to some ice water for some flavor. I found it in my local Pathmark.

The Polar brand of seltzers have the most wonderful flavors and it's all natural...not diet or fake stuff. And the bubbles are "finer" than Vintage or store brand seltzers so it doesn't hurt to drink. HTH!
