How do you go to a store with two newborns??

Once the girls arrive, I will keep the older 2 in daycare twice a week, so some days it will be and just me and the babies. The plan is for me or DH to do the grocery shopping on a weekend, and take the older two with us, while one of us is home with the girls. But what if I need something during the week and going out can't be avoided? I would also imagine I won't want to be stuck inside after the first few weeks. Did you carry one in the Bjorn and snap the other one's car seat into the cart? And what about once they were older? (8+ months) Is there a way to fit both kids in the front part of the cart? I am going to have to make sure we are FULLY stocked on our Sunday grocery trips so maybe this will never be a problem.

Use storage bin under double snap and go!


Once kids are older, use the "car" shopping cards----they fit two kids up top.

the bottom of the snap and go was a life saver in the beginning. Also they sell giant hooks that can go on the handbar of any stroller and you can clip in reusable bags and fill it up as you go. When they get older (sitting) two can go in the front seat, and when they are even bigger, you can put a hand basket under the bottom of a regular shopping cart and fit some stuff in there while someone sits in the main part of the basket. I never find the car shopping carts when I need them so I've had to improvise!

Both babies in car seats in stroller and use a mommy hook to hook a basket or two to your stroller handle. You'll get pretty creative. Or just use stop and shops peapod and get your groceries delivered!
