Irritable Uterus?

Hi All,

Last night I got no sleep and was super stressed out and today I started to feel some "cramping" and I saw very small spotting. I am 29 weeks pregnant so of course I freaked out. I called my Dr who sent me to L&D.
They saw I was having minor contractions with irritability of my uterus in between. The contractions went away when they gave me fluid so they determined I probably was just somewhat dehydrated. I didn't even feel the contractions they were seeing on the monitor . Baby looks and sounds great.

I am to follow up with my DR this week. They checked my cervix which is long and closed and thick and they did a test to see if I would be in danger of preterm labor over the next two weeks and all was negative.

Has anyone heard of or had experience with an irritable uterus during pregnancy? They seemed to lead me to believe as long as my symptoms do not intensify, all is fine. They did tell me to drink lots of fluid and to take it easy.

I had it, it's really just annoying. Just got a ton of contractions all the time that did nothing. As long as they don't change your cervix you should be fine.

I had this starting at 28 weeks. Take it easy! I was told
No lifting or bending.
