Hi, wanted to join you ladies. I just got my BFP last night! We are so excited! A question for you : at how many weeks did you see your doctor for the first time ? Also, how do put one of those pregnancy tickers in your profile ? Thanks and look forward to chatting with you.

Congratulations! Not sure about the pregnancy ticker, but my first appointments were at 8 weeks for both of my pregnancies.

congratulations happy and healthy 9 months. My first apt was at 6 weeks reason being that at my annual checkup my pregnancy test was very faint and they needed to confirm a couple of weeks after

Hi ladies !
Thanks so much ! I just made my first appointment for 7 weeks. The practice normally doesn't take you until 8 weeks but the midwife is going on maternity leave so they said they would take me earlier. Do you think I can ask for an ultrasound at 7 weeks to try and hear the heart beat ?

Yes, they def should be able to see a HB at 7 weeks, it may be a transvaginal sono though.

Congrats!! I think I saw my OB about 9 weeks but I saw an RE so I went in when I got my BFP to confirm and get levels.
As far as the ticker, I set up an account on "the bump" and you select a personalized ticker and it will give you a URL for it. Then you just pop it in somewhere on your profile here and it should show up. HTH!
ETA: I put mine in my "interests and hobbies" section. Happy and Healthy 9 months!!
