Hair product for hay-like hair?
My mom has very thick hay-like hair. Very course due to hair dye and just the texture of grays in general. Does anyone know of a product she could use that will make it look and feel great? She just went for a new short cut and is desperate to tame the mane! Thanks!!

Wella Luxe oil. It has keratin in it. I have thick coarse hair and use a few little drops on damp hair before blow drying. Then I rub a drop on my fingers and run it through the ends after styling. Love the way it smells, too.

Fekkai Technician Color Care balm - I use it about once a week instead of regular conditioner. It makes my hair so soft and shiny
ETA: It's actually "masque", not balm

I'm never successful with linking lol. It's Wella Luxe Oil Reconstructive Elixir. I just looked on Ulta's website and they carry it.

Coconut Oil! Use it like a deep conditioner, or even sleep with it on. It just needs to be washed out well.

I often do a coconut oil treatment. Love that stuff.
I also use Moroccan oil each day and often just condition and not shampoo my hair.
Cheapy brands like V05 actually work well in my hair.

WARNING!!!! This is NOT good for everyone!! It ruined my hair, and it took a year to figure out what it was!!!

Wen. I started using it months ago and it totally transformed my hair. I had dry, course, frizzy, fly away hair and now it's soft, smooth and silky. I use the Fig one. Highly recommend it

my hair was very coarse.. i have lots of grays- and then from constantly dying it. I've been using quench by bumble and bumble shampoo, conditioner, leave in conditioner and their hairdresser's oil and my hair is in amazing shape.. granted, it's $100 for all those things- but IMO worth it.

She should try a protein mask once a week (or more). I don't color my hair anymore because it would be so parched after coloring. I needed to use deep protein rich conditioner or mask to help restore it.
