Do you get sonos at every appt?
I have my follow up to my n/t appt tomorrow. I'm 15 weeks. The receptionist is the one who called me so she couldn't tell me what was going to be done and I'm wondering if I'll be getting a sono. Do you typically have a sono at every appt?
TIA!

It will depend on your doctor I would think. I see maternal fetal medicine doctors (high risk) and have had a sono at every appointment and even some appointments that were just sonos.

You should. Longer ones at mfm to check fluid levels, and quick ones at the OB just to check heartbeats. If you were pregnant with just one they would use the Doppler for that, but The Doppler is tricky with multiples so they just do a quick sono.

Yes I do. So far I have had a sonogram at 7 weeks, 13 weeks, 18 weeks, 21 weeks, and I will have another one on Saturday at just about 24 weeks.

Thanks! I had a follow up yesterday (I'm 15 weeks) and the nurse was just going to use the doppler but then when I said there were two, she sent me in the sono room. We didn't get to see anything or get any new pictures but I was just happy that everything was ok.
