Breastfeeding resource
Just got an email from our ped with some breastfeeding supports on the island and wanted to share. Our ped is now part of the allied physicians group and apparently they offer LC consultations, classes, etc. It says you don't have to be a patient with one of their offices to use the services either. I know when I had DD I used the LCs at peconic pediatrics and there were awesome and now they're part of the same group. Definitely worth bookmarking since I know having a number ready to call was so helpful when I was new to bfing.

just wanted to add that I have seen dr Macaluso with my DS from Allied and she is wonderful - she is also an MD and can prescribe medications if you need (I needed an antibiotic ointment for bleeding nipples). She takes insurance also which is an added bonus!
