baby-moon at how many weeks?

what is the latest you would go on a baby-moon if it was a 3-4 hour drive away from home?

Mine is planned for President's Day weekend in Vermont. I will be 28 weeks. Hoping I still feel good by then!

Def before the third trimester. We went at 24-25 weeks and it was perfect. I'm 28 weeks now and honestly starting to feel uncomfortable. I would not want to sit in a car or on a plane for a long period of time right now. I feel like my body in general has significantly changed in three weeks...My lower back hurts and I just feel stretched out hahaha. It's tough to get up!!

baby-moon at how many weeks?

3-4 hour drive is much easier. We did our baby moon when I was about 25 weeks but we flew. We did go to the cherry blossom festival when I was about 32 weeks. We had a great time, but it couldn't walk long distances.

I think it depends on where and how much you are swelling.

I actually want to go on a ski trip with my friends at 30 weeks to VT, but I am not going. Not because of the drive, I'm not worried about that, but because if something happens I don't want to end up in a hospital in VT. Also I worry about the slippery surfaces up there since I seem accident prone as a preggo.

But I may go visit my friend and her baby in DC around 31 weeks if I am still not having any swelling.

One of my showers is going to be in NJ at 34 weeks, only a 2 1/2 hour drive with no traffic, but makes me a bit nervous. But honestly if something happened in NJ I wouldn't be that worried about having to go to a hospital there.

We went at when I ws 27 weeks, it was perfect. I still had energy to walk around and do things. Honestly, any farther along and I think I would have been a bust.

I'm planning on going to the Carribbean (about a 4 hour plane ride) between 31 and 32 weeks. Hopefully I still feel good by then. I'm 23 weeks now and I still feel great. Fingers crossed!!
