potty training with minimal speech
Hi,
Please help. My ds is almost 3. Hes receiving services for speech. He comes to me to change his diaper when he goes. But cant verbalize it. Any help on how to go about potty training would be grately appreciated!!

I know nothing about sign language, but I'm sure you can teach him to sign when he needs to go. My friends DS is mostly non-verbal and they use a lot of signs.

He needs an alternative such as Sign Language or Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS). What strategies does his ST use to augment his communication?
