Re: 21 Day Fix/Shakeology Challenge
I haven't completed the program but have done some of the workouts before and I enjoyed them. I will tell you that while I like the premise of the 21 day fix in teaching portion control, I think the amount of food they give each person is not so great. When I figured out what I would get, the program gave between 900-1000 calories. By default it told me to increase to 1200 calories and this was including exercising 6 days a week. That is barely enough food for someone who stays in bed all day everyday. I think the workout programs beachbody has are great but I stand by my assertion that for nutrition advice you should really see someone who is a specialist. Most coaches (and I say most, not all a I am sure there are some that ARE experienced in nutrition) are people who sign up with the company for the income and have no real education in nutrition or training for that matter. Just do your research.
As for shakeology I think there are better, cheaper alternatives.

Agreed! I completed 21 days, lost 13 lbs. and felt great without Shakeology. I liked the workouts but def felt I needed more food most days. Anyway, summer came along and I gained back about half the weight. I am going to prob start a modified versions. It is a good program overall. A little difficult because there are no rest days.

Re: 21 Day Fix/Shakeology Challenge
The 21-Day Fix is a great program that does require some prepping and planning.
With the 21 Day Fix container system, you’ll learn how to create healthy portions simply and intuitively. It shows you how to eat whatever you want, in the right amounts, so you can reach your goals fast. No guesswork, and no calorie counting.
The 21 Day Fix workouts are designed to burn a lot of calories in only 30 minutes. Any fitness level can do them. If you’re a beginner, you'd follow the on-screen modifier. If you’re an advanced exerciser, you can dial up the intensity and challenge yourself to push harder.
Shakeology is a delicious, nutrient-dense, superfood-packed protein shake. It’s made with the healthy stuff you should be eating every day, but typically don’t. Shakeology’s the perfect combination of proteins, phytonutrients, antioxidants, enzymes, prebiotics, and probiotics. Plus, it also contains many rare ingredients, including adaptogens, camu-camu, and maca root—things we can’t get from an ordinary diet.
Were you invited to join a challenge group? If not, I have one starting up on February 16th. Challenge groups are basically secret Facebook groups filled with people working toward fitness goals. We provide each other support and motivation. I as a coach, keep my challengers accountable for doing their daily workouts. The groups are a great way to keep you working toward your goals and staying on track.
PM me if you'd like any more info!
