The Arcana Chronicles series, by Kersely Cole?

I don't think I've ever seen anyone post about them. I just finished book 3 and I can't stop thinking about it. Fantastic series.

If you're wondering what it is and where it stands, it's YA dystopian/paranormal romance and it sits here on the January NYT bestselling series list:

1. The Maze Runner
2. Divergent
3. Diary of Wimpy Kid
4. The Arcana Chronicles
5. Hunger Games

Kresley Cole also writes a great adult paranormal romance series, The Immortals After Dark, which, for me, has surpassed the BDB.

So, if you like any of the above (aside from Wimpy Kid), give these a try. Since I see people asking for more books in the same vein as the others, I thought I'd make a separate post for this series. Can you tell I'm thoroughly smitten?

DOES IT HAVE A HAPPY ENDING?

I'm not sure i'm ready to commit to another series where i fall in love with the characters just to be disappointed with the ending.

It's not a trilogy, so I don't know. I expect there will be a bunch more books in this series, and she's been writing about one a year. However, while I have no idea how it will end, I can't imagine that in this kind of series, the ending can actually be happy. But satisfying and happy are not the same thing.
