In what grade do finals start?
I'm thinking way ahead, but as of now, we pull our kids from school for a week in June every year. At this age (nursery and 3rd grade) I am completely fine with it. It's usually the 2nd or 3rd week. They are pretty much packing up classrooms, watching movies, and having field days that time of year.
But obviously, they will have finals at some point and that time of year will be for review. In what grade did you DC start having finals/end if year exams? Right now the Common Core tests are in spring.

Sixth grade usually.

My kids are in 2 & 3 grade and already have district tests which seem to be quarterly. This is something new. I have a feeling there will be one at the end of the year.
I would ask the teachers, they should have some sort of idea.

In what grade do finals start?
I give a take home final in math for my 5th graders that they have about a week to complete. All other finals begin in 6th grade.
