Help!!! My curly hair is looking like sh@t!!!
I dont know if its the weather or what but my curly is looking so bad right now and I dont know how to fix it. I was looking into copolla treatment because I was thinking that might help but I have not had any treatments on my hair for close to 5 yrs now. I use Deva products so I dont know if its lack of moisture but I just want my old hair back

Re: Help!!! My curly hair is looking like sh@t!!!
Have you tried just switching up your shampoo and conditioner? Sometimes that is all you need. I find that my hair will get into a funk if I use the same stuff for too long.
Also, the winter is awful on hair. My hair looks like shit lately too. I think it's the cold and the dry heat. Ugh

Re: Help!!! My curly hair is looking like sh@t!!!
Since I started co-washing about 4 weeks ago my curly hair has been sooo healthy, no frizz and looks great! Basically all that means is using a conditioner that is silicone-free (I use Tresemme naturals, super cheap) in your hair like shampoo. I "scrub" my scalp with the tips of my fingers using the conditioner and then finger-comb some more down the length of my hair. Let it sit for a few minutes then rinse.
If you feel like you need to use a shampoo, get one that is sulfate free. But honestly (and I was the type to use shampoo EVERY day) you don't need it. My hair feels and looks clean. My scalp issues are gone. And my curls are curlier than ever. I live in Canada so it's super dry up here, should be frizz-city haha, but my hair looks the best it ever has

Re: Help!!! My curly hair is looking like sh@t!!!
My hair girl (who has curly hair) said after you shampoo & condition your hair, put a little extra regular conditioner in your hair at the end of your shower and don't rinse it.
Then style as usual.
I feel like a cut livens up my curls and trying new moisturizing products. Maybe a leave in in the shower? A hot oil treatment?

Help!!! My curly hair is looking like sh@t!!!
I stopped washing my hair with sulfate free for a bit cause it would weigh my hair down and cause a build up...I wash it every 2-3 days and switch it up from sulfate free & with sulfates.
I may try a hot oil treatment to see if that helps. I just bought a couple of new curly hair products to see if that gets my hair out of a rut.

Re: Help!!! My curly hair is looking like sh@t!!!
What's the texture of your hair like? I HATE Deva's products - HATE them. Mine is very culy, long and blonde (for some reason supposedly more dry than darker hair) -
My favorite shapmoo/conditioner is Nexxus - I also love their gel. I also really like Garnier leave in conditioner, as well as Kerastasse products -
I find that switching up products every now and then helps. ESPECIALLY if you're using that Deva stuff - try something with a bit more moisture, a little heavier.
Try a deep conditoner, one that you leave in for at least 20 minutes and wrap your head in a towel or plastic bag to keep the moisture/heat in - Old school Wella brand is awesome.

Re: Help!!! My curly hair is looking like sh@t!!!
My hair is protein-sensitive meaning it is pretty easy for me to overdose and get TOO much protein in my hair, so I stayed away from any products with protein. But every now and then (especially lately) I need to add back some protein (its essentially what gives your hair structure, you can tell if you need protein by taking a strand of hair from your head, and pulling on it... if it stretches and stretches and then snaps, you need protein. If it just breaks instantly you probably need moisture). So yea, I'd look into some conditioner/leave-in treatment that has some proteins in it, or do some protein mask once a week till it is back to normal.

Help!!! My curly hair is looking like sh@t!!!
i wash my hair with L'Oreal Everpure line every 3-4 days. i also use a scalp treatment at the same time and it makes my hair last. I LOVE the Aussie product line. Once out of the shower I put in a leave in conditioner, mousse, spray gel. and i let it air dry

I use Tresemme Keratin Smooth shampoo/conditioner even when wearing my hair curly (believe it or not)...
then I use Pillow Soft Curls, which I swear by.. my curls have never looked better since discovering this product.
