outfit help

Im very confused about what to wear. Im usually so good with this but this time Im just not sure.

I have a 1st bday in a hall on a Sat afternoon. What a mind Eff! LOL I was going to do a dress and a cardigan. BUT I dont know I feel like I wear that ALL the time and wanted to switch it up a bit.
And I dont know if I should add black tights... I wanted to wear nude heels can I wear black opaque tights with nude heels?
Can I wear Black jeans and a nice shirt with heels?
They are skinny black jeans.

I personally don't like the look of black tights and nude heels.
I would do black heels with black tights or bare legs (or GASP sheer sheer pantyhose!)

And yes, you can also wear black skinny jeans and heels with a nice top to an event like this.

I would not do nude heels with black tights - I don't ever like the look of lighter colored shoes with dark tights/pantyhose.

For the party, I would probably wear a short-ish black skirt with a nice sweater, tights and boots. Bu I think the black skinny jeans would work too
