Yasmin as BC
I was going to get the Mirena but my mom is terrified of me getting an IUD and since I'm not breastfeeding anymore I don't need to do the IUD or minipill route.
We want to eventually have another child in the next two years (God willing!) and well my Doc said isn't a huge fan of IUD's either. As he put it if I was to get pregnant on the pill the pregnancy would most likely continue. If it happened with a IUD I would most likely have a tubal or would need to get the IUD removed which in most cases ends in miscarriage.
So I used to take Orthotricyclen but well it never cleared up my face ever and I still got bitchy on it and it killed my drive.. so he gave me a prescription of Yasmin...
And I was just wondering if anyone has tried it and liked it?
Weight gain? (it's welcome if it goes to my boobs.. lol)
Moodiness?
Sex Drive??

I was on it for awhile....when it first came out. I liked it (I liked almost all the pills I was on). No major side effects that I noted

I was on Orthro tri-cyclen and I hated it I was a ***** ON Wheels!! I am now on Yasmin I feel great on it. no complaints here.

Yippie! Now I just have to wait for AF to come back a second time to start my pills up.
She better come back soon she is starting to freak me out.

I'm on it now. I tried it before my wedding, lost 5lbs (water weight of course), still had my drive, no pimples, not so much of a ******.

A friend of mine was on Yasmin and her hair started falling out in clumps....her doctor said it was a known side effect, but very rare.

I was on Yasmin for a few years before I got pregnant with Logan. I had no side effects what so ever. I noticed before Yasmin other pills made me extremely moody.

I was on it for a few months and had no side effects.
Am off it now cause we're TTC!!!!
