Santa Margherita. On the cheaper end Cavit is good.

Re: Favorite pinot Grigio
If you are looking for something different and a little more upscale see if you can find Bertani Velanti Pinot Grigio. Had it at a restaurant once...much better than the usual suspects.

Re: Favorite pinot Grigio
I just had one from Maso Canali at a party last night. Was quite tasty.

I like the Santa Margherita one, too.
In the "budget" category - the Barefoot Pinto Grigiot is not bad! I also like the Luna Di Luna Pinot-Chardonnay blend.
I used to love Pinot Grigiot, but lately I am finding the less expensive ones are often watery and tasteless.
As an aside - I have been been shifting into unoaked/steel barrel aged/"naked" Chardonnay and loving it! It's not at all like the stereotypical "heavy" Chardonnay with the overpowering oaky flavor that I hate!

Yes to that! I used to hate Chard because I really never liked the heavy oak taste. I never realize they made unoaked chardonnay. It's amazing. Much more complex than Pinot Grigio- which like you said is kind of tasteless compared to a more complex wine.
