If you (or someone you know) has had surgery to correct deviated septum, and simultaneously did rhinoplasty please come in
I have a horrible deviated septum. I can see it easily by looking up into my nose. I can barely breath out of that side of my nose during the day (not really noticeable), but at night the moment i lay down it is completely blocked. It is preventing me from sleeping and I cant take it anymore. On a side note, ive always had a big nose and should have probably had it fixed when i was younger. I am scared to death of the recovery (not surgery) so i never did it. If i HAVE to get surgery to fix the septum im thinking it makes sense to bite the bullet and do the nose job too. Has anyone done this? What was recovery like? Can you recommend a good dr to do both procedures?

i havent had it done. but worked for Dr. Angelo Reppucci. hes an ENT that speciallizes in facial plastics. he does super natural looking noses.
600 Northern Boulevard, Great Neck, NY 11021 (516) 466-6888
he removed my tonsils and adenoids.

Also check out Dr. Corrine Horn in NYC, she does this relatively often. She's an ENT who specializes in facial plastics as well and has an impeccable reputation. She is part of a larger group NYOG

i had my deviated septum, turbinates & something else done years ago...if i was going to get a nose job too I would've done it at that time (i have a big nose but i was 34 and used to it..haha)...since they're already in there no sense in going thru a recovery 2xs. For me it was a long recovery to completely feeling normal again..the first few days are the worst, but it was well worth it! My quality of life completely changed from getting sick every few months to maybe only once a year...good luck!!!

DR Turk in woodbury is an ENT plastic surgeon and only works on the nose or face no other part of the body.
I never used him but my cousin did and had great results
