How long is your female dog in heat for?
We have a 10 month old puppy. She was supposed to be spayed during one of the last snow storms but bc of the storm we had to cancel. As luck would have it she's now in heat and has her dog period. She is currently in diapers. How long she we expect this to last? It started this past Monday.

Hmm. this happened to us too. Got caught off guard. If I recall correctly, it lasted about 2 weeks or so. But just remember, you cannot fix them right afterwards due to the increased blood flow to the uterus. My girl got stuck wearing her diaper for about 3 weeks.
