Generally, how long does it take to get an appointment with an RE?
I know every office is different. But, if nothing happens between now and April, I want to see an RE. Just wondering if I should make that appointment now bc it'll take a month to get into the office. Or, wait until April to make the appointment.

Some places can see you in 1-2 weeks; others require you to wait months. It is very practice dependent.

Depends on the practice and doctor...
I am OOS so I am sure its different, but I was referred to a pretty popular doctor and got in within 3 weeks. Another practice had me in the next day.

I used LIIVF and was able to get an appoint within 5-6 days of calling. I am a teacher and have a little more flexibility in terms of being able to take "early" appointments (around 3:30), so I think that helped get me in pretty quickly! I had DH work from home that day because I wanted him at the appointment with me.

With my RE he was booking 3 weeks out... but some doctors (like Dr. T at SIRM) the wait will be months.

It can't hurt to make an appt and you can always cancel if need be. It is better than having to wait for an appointment. Some doctor's have appts available within a couple of weeks, some longer than that. Good luck!

Usually at least 2-4 weeks to get an appt. If you want an appt for April, make it now. You can always cancel it.

Depends on the Dr. I was lucky when I went to Columbia. I called and got an appt in a few days but it was only cause she had a cancellation

First practice was a month. Second practice was 3 months.

I would pick your practice and make an appointment for a date you are comfortable with. PRAYING you will be able to cancel it!

Call now and make an appointment for when you would want to be seen. Cancel if you get pregnant before.
I called 3 RE and went with the one with the first available. I got an appointment in under a week.

some within a week, a Dr in high demand longer. RE's with multi Dr's sometimes are easier to get in. I booked Dr T 2 month before my appt.
