Dark immediate test line, slower faint control line

Ok, took two tests, same results with both. I followed the instructions and waited the three minutes and got two pink lines showing positive result. The first line (test line) appeared rather quickly and is super dark while the second control line to show if the test is working took much longer to appear (about two min or so) and is much more faint. Why is the control line so much lighter and took so much longer to appear? This happened with both tests.

Get a Clearblue Easy weeks test (Tells you how many weeks you are). I'm assuming the dye is being used up in the test line. I would guess you're fetcher along than you think. Maybe about 6 weeks or so.

You are probably farther along than you think! The line gets darker as time goes on. Congrats!

With both pregnancies the test line came up dark and fast 6 days before AF was expected to arrive. I always measured a week ahead of what was calculated based on my LMP. Strong little one you have in there :)

that's exactly how mine came up at 4.5 weeks. i started testing at 3.5 and got it the other way around.

I think the more hormone you have, the darker the line.

I tested at 15DPO (4 days late) with #1 and my control line was much lighter.
